Roy D. Knowles Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy D. Knowles of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Knowles and Keri St. John; and his son-in-law Terry St. John. He is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Those wishing to honor Roy may do so through contribution to Butman Methodist Camp, Gold Monarch Healing Center, First Methodist Church, all of Abilene, or Bynum School of Midland.
