He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Block and Effie Jewel Watson Block; his wife Mary Helen; his son Donald Block; his daughter-in-law Lisa Block; and his siblings, Betty Truet, Dorothy Hillard and Vernon Block.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Stephenson (Gary) of Abilene; his grandchildren, Misty Jackson (Glenn), David Stephenson (Lindsay), Stephanie Moncla (Aaron), Tiffany Conder (Micah), Chelsea Howard Block (Chris Garcia) and Kristopher West; and his great grandchildren, Brendan Jackson, Ethan Jackson, Piper Stephenson, Lainey Stephenson, Amelia Stephenson, Blake Moncla, Bryson Moncla, Talen Conder, Bennett Block and Anderson Block.
