She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hockersmith and Leona Hockersmith; and her husband Hugh Tighe Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Hugh Tighe III (Melinda) of Castle Rock, CO and Steven Tighe (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Hugh Tighe IV, John Tighe and Auggie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Memorial Park (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).
