She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmidt and Deloris Schmidt; her son Christopher; her siblings, David, Tim and Darlis; her grandson Jayden; and her nephew David (Thomas Herr).
She is survived by: her husband Ed Coleman; her children, Brenda Goetz (Daryn), Daniel McPartland and Michael Krueger (Jessica); her stepdaughters, Kim Halfmann (Gary) and Kassy Warren (Bobbie); her siblings, Kim (Angelo), Cora (Steve) and Darrell (Judy Schmidt); and her pet Lily.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Cancer Institute in Shirley's memory.
