He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Merrill and Regis Merrill (Benjimine). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Merrill of Abilene; his children, Jay Merrill (Christy) of Grape Creek and Lisa Davis (Jeff) of San Angelo; and his sister Judy Burney (Donald) of San Angelo. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
