He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Roberts and Lois Roberts; his children, Mikayla, Kate, Micheal Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Rolando Verdida Jr., Jay Earl Verdida and Krizza Kristel Verdida; his wife Maria Luz; his children, Anthony Roberts, Alex Roberts and Elizabeth "ZiZi" Roberts; and his sisters, Sherry Maloney and Karen Walters.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).
