We are sad to announce that, on January 23, 2023, at the age of 69, Suzanne Shahan of Abilene, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Childress, and William R. Childress, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Gary Shahan; her daughters, Erin (Jesse Moosbrugger), Emily (Will Allison) and Amy (Randy Hinton); her grandchildren, Grady, Anna Grace, Griffin, Eloise, Millie and Maren; her siblings, Alesia McCreless and Billy; and her sisters-in-law, Terry Childress and Gwen Robertson. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Cancer Services Network, Abilene Arts Alliance/Hearts for the Arts, Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation or Abilene Young Life.
