He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Martell and Dorothy Reene Anderson; his siblings, Steven and Candy Chapple; and his grandson Jacob Blake.
He is survived by: his children, Maranda and Jill; his grandchildren, Autumn Rose, Shawn Blake, Kaleigh Madison, Landon Ryan, Quinn Nicole and Nicolas Stokes; his great grandchild Monroe Jane; and his sister Claudia Perry of Jackson, WY.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3325 N 12th St, Abilene, TX 79603). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
