We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2024, at the age of 87, Tom Jones of Abilene, Texas, born in Trent, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, D. H. Jones and Mary Katherine Tittle Jones; and his wife Linda Sue Kelley of Clyde. He is survived by : his sisters, Ruby Lee Petree (Gerald) of Albany, TX and Rose Mary DeLane of Austin; and his great-nephews, Ryan Pleasant, Jordan Pleasant, Dylan Petree, Evan Petree, Kit Patterson II, Ren Patterson, Zac DeLane and Cody Petree. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 great nieces, 8 great nephews, 3 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew.

Memorials may be sent to Trent United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
