He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Casey and Loudell Casey; his granddaughters, Ashley Scoggins, Mikaylee Szatkowski and Melissa Szatkowski; and his parents-in-law, Agnes and Raymond Barnett.

He is survived by: his significant other Patsy Barnett; his children, Suzanne Bailey (Larry), Tony Scoggins (Karla), Troy Scoggins, Jr. (Dene') and Misty Szatkowski (Mark); his grandchildren, Kacie Oller (Rick), Anthony Scoggins, Mandy McKnight (Jonathan), Taylor Scoggins (Romy), Joshua Bailey, Riley Scoggins, Aaron Scoggins, Stephen Scoggins, Jordan Scoggins, Madeleine Szatkowski, Jonathan Scoggins and McKinlea Szatkowski; his great grandchildren, Mattie Mae, Noah, Wade and Pheobe Jeanne; and his sister Cathey Casey.
