With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Sanders of Abilene, Texas, born in Wilson, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rice and Letty Rice; her husband William Robert Sanders; her brother Stewart Benson Rice; and her sister-in-law Madeline Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret, Frank Mayo, Lee Anne, Steve Blankenship, Robert and Silvia Sanders; her grandchildren, Michelle, Jason Williams, Jennifer Mayo, Casey Hatcher, Meagan, Jeff Neptune and Sarah Blankenship; her great grandchildren, Seth Williams, Blake Williams and Olivia Neptune; her nieces, Camille Owens and Kim Wylie; her nephew Ricky Rice; her sister-in-law Kathy Rice; and her pet Molly.
