He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McKay and Helen McKay; and his sister Patricia McKay. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his sons, Sean (Linnea) and Colin; his brothers, Tom (Lois) and Tim (Kristine); Annette (Anthony), Johnny Jr. (Michelle) and Monica. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wylie Methodist Church (3430 Antilley Rd, Abilene, TX 79606).
