William Orlan Akin Obituary
Dr. Orlan Akin, 85, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Per Dr. Akin's request there will not be a visitation or funeral service due to the Covid-19 virus. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are being handled by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Memorial donations may be given in Dr. Akin's honor to the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest, the West Texas Rehabilitation Center (Hospice of the Big Country), Rescue the Animals, the Ben Richey Boys Ranch or to the donor's favorite charity.
