With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Peacock of Abilene, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parent Orene Peacock; his sister Hazel; his grandfather Charles Woodruff "Chock" Peacock; his father Timothy Goldman Peacock; his grandfather Robert "Bob" Harris; Orene Pearl Peacock.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Peacock; his son Michael Peacock; his grandchildren, Thomas Tackett of Albany, Johnny Ford Jr. of Abilene, Kourtney Peacock, Serenity Peacock, Kyleigh Peacock, Savannah Williams and Haylee Williams; his brother-in-law Kenneth Keeney of Bangs; his brother R. D.; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Spykes of Abilene, Frankie McDaniel of Granbury, Ann Kostic of Abilene, Dorothy Bradshaw of San Antonio and Sheila Keeney of Taft. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
