He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Spaunhorst and Francis William Spaunhorst; Helen Spaunhorst. He is survived by: his wife Joan Spaunhorst; his children, Scott Spaunhorst, Janet Williams (James) and Lorna Carter (Russell); and his sister Ann Bruegging.
