He is survived by: his children, Steve Spurgin (Billie), Terri Halpern (Dan), Tracy Hernandez (James) and Leigh Ann Spurgin; his wife Wanda Spurgin; his sister Alice Santleban; his friend Jim Zumwalt; and his stepchildren, Tony Thetford (Jane), Susie Cassle, Sherry Rounsaville, Terry Sansom (Pat) and Debbie Owens (Tim).
