He was predeceased by: his parent Author; and his great grandchild Hope Jewel Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Allred; his sons, Stan (Carla) and Steve (Tracie); his grandchildren, Shelli Barnes (Bill), Krista Anderson (Clay John), Brittni Hirt (Colby), Sean Blagrave (Megan) and Trevor Blagrave (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Braxton Barnes, Kylie Barnes, Savannah Barnes, Jolee Jordan, Caleb Jordan, Layton Anderson, Harper Anderson, Ember Hirt, Parker Hirt, Miles Blagrave and Wyatt Blagrave.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
