He is survived by: his wife Flora Gomez; his sons, Abel Gomez and Emmanuel Gomez; his daughter-in-law Jovana Gomez; his grandchildren, Isaías Gomez, Karyme Gomez, Sophia Gomez and Ezra Gomez; and his brother Federico Gomez Jr..

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Ackerly Cemetery.
