He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Caplovitz and Herman Caplovitz; and his brother Louis Caplovitz. He is survived by: his sister Roz Shosid; his wife Iris Caplovitz; his children, Bryan Caplovitz, Michael Caplovitz and Cathryn Mellon; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Rachel, Max, Tyler, Sienna, Jacob, Sophia, Sam and Sadie.
