He was predeceased by: his father Jud Palmer; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his close friend Sally Bell McCray-Palmer of Adkins, Texas; his family, Terri Palmer (Jim) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Diane Palmer (Paul) of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Debra O'Day of Edmond, Oklahoma, Mike McCray (Sara) of Erie, Pennsylvania and Tom McCray (Becky) of Mico, Texas.; and his cousin Emil "Deno" Belcastro of Dandridge. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
