He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Hartford; his parents, Albert Hartford and Olive Hartford (Wiest); and his son Jim Hartford. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Hartford of St. Charles and Greg Hartford of Battle Creek, Michigan; his stepdaughter Pamela Duhe (Stanton) of Hammond, Louisiana; and his sibling Corliss Belland of Baltimore, Maryland..
