He was predeceased by: his parents, Cruz Salinas and Margarita Guzman Salinas; his son Roberto Salinas Jr.; his grandson Jerry Jay Gallegos; and his siblings, Raquel Alvarez, Reynaldo Salinas, Ramiro Salinas, Rogelio Salinas, Raul Salinas and Andres Salinas.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Del Refugio Salinas; his children, Rosa Maria Gallegos (Gerardo Gallegos), Annabelle Salinas and Gerardo Salinas (Norma Salinas); his grandchildren, Diana Mitchell Gallegos, Bianca R. Lopez (John Fuentes), Brianna R. Guevara (Frank Guevara), Bobbi Nicole Salinas, Jerremi D. Salinas, Stephen A. Salinas, Nicolas I. Salinas, Aaron M. Salinas, Victoria Salinas and Casey L. Gallegos; and his great grandchildren, Liberty Lee Gallegos, Luka Tiago Gallegos, Aria Athena Gallegos, Brooklyn Guevara, Mason Guevara, Carli Guevara, Caylie Lopez, De'Andre Fuentes, Sean Fuentes, Jesus Fuentes and Anthony Fuentes.
