She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Robert and Mary Lou Boerchett Smith; her husband Thomas B. Buffington; her brother Mike Smith; and her granddaughter Nikaela Bobo.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Buffington (Stephanie) of Forney, Chris Buffington (Stephanie) of Alba and Shawna Buffington of Emory. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
