She was predeceased by : her parents, James A. Yarbrough and Betty Jo Yarbrough; her brother Jerry Glen Yarbrough (Gerald); and her former life partner James Wayne Nix. She is survived by : her husband Lenis McCasland of Alba; her daughter Amie Spraggins-Rumsey of Greenville; her grandson Cody Rumsey of Greenville; her great grandchild Dax Lee Rumsey of Dallas; her brother Jimmy Lynn Yarbrough of Cathedral, CA; her stepdaughters, Janelle Nix Wolfson (Michel) of Rowlett, Janette Nix Toney (Doug) of Montrose, CO, Kandy Brazell of Royse City and Misty McCasland of Alba; her stepgrandchildren, Adriene Goforth Houghtlin (Shawn) of Wylie, Craig Ellis, Joanne Albright of Dallas, Tyler Wolfson of Rowlett, Cullen Ellis (Emma) and Ryan Brazell of Royse City; and her great grandchild Marie Claire Ellis. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Amazing Grace Fellowship Church (7405 Hwy 69 East, Alba, TX 75410).
