It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Doyle Blackwell of Albany, Texas, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Blackwell and Samantha Blackwell; his wife Dorothy Blackwell; his children, Kenneth, Ronnie and Beth; and his pets, Precious and Itsy.

He is survived by : his children, Eddie, Nell and Rhonda (Gary); his grandchildren, Bristyn, Weston, Aiden and Myah; and his great grandchild Nell. He is also survived by her two sons, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
