With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mable Long of Aledo, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Anna Mosley and Roger B. Walker; her grandparents, Lewis and Mabel Meeks; her son-in-law James Jones; and her granddaughter Keonna Long.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Jones (James), Bennie Long and Carolyn Long; her siblings, Bobbie Simmons, Royce Walker-Jackson, Allie Walker-Aybar, Roderick Walker and Carlton Walker; her close friend Alice Mae Robinson; and her grandchildren, Nicole Smith (Eric), Carlton Long (Monette), Dominic (Tabrica), Herbert Long (La Keea), Charles Long (Toni), Marcus Person, Sonya Urdy, Whitney Jones, Eric Thomas, Melanie Mason and Tawana Malone. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; along with countless friends.
