She was predeceased by: her husband Alejandro Lopez Sr.; her sons, David Orlando Lopez, Carlos Ivan Lopez (Sandra), Alejandro Lopez Jr. and Isaac Lopez; her grandson David Orlando Lopez Jr.; and her siblings, Marcelo Mario Cavazos, Ramon Cavazos, Maria Apolonia Cavazos, Hilda Jasso, Leoncio Cavazos Jr., Luis Guillermo Cavazos, Dagoberto Cavazos, Juan Marcelo Cavazos and Jesus Cavazos.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosario Casas (Miguel) and Graciela "Gracie" Lopez; her grandchildren, Clarisa Gutierrez (Albert), Amanda Lopez (Arturo Guzman), Priscilla Olivarez (Emmanuel), Delisa Resendez (Daniel), Carlos Ivan Lopez Jr. (Brenda), Alejandro Lopez III, Isael Manuel Ramirez, Angelica Casas (Paul Gomez), Diego Ramirez and Allen Yarbrough; and her daughters-in-law, Gloria Lopez and Estella Garza. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephew, extended family and dear friends.
Amparo lived her life with the virtues of hope, love, and charity, through her actions and deeds.
