He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilia Martinez and Jose Carmen Martinez; and his brothers, Porfirio "Pilo" Martinez and Gilberto Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Elida Martinez; and his children, Hilda Montemayor (Ricardo), Mary Saenz (Roger) and Armando Martinez Jr. (Melba). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
