It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berta C. Labbe (Alice, Texas), who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Pedro Cantu and Aurora Saenz; her husband Eugene E. Labbe; and her siblings, George, Louis, Raul Spencer, Sarah Sears, Sofia Spencer and Emma Cardenas.

She is survived by : her daughters, Debbie Labbe of Alice, Darlene Labbe Moreland (Richard) of Alice, Denise Labbe Cavazos (Steve) of Alice and Donna Labbe Leal (Mike) of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, Leah Lively (Travis), Christian Cavazos (Paiten), Erin E. Cavazos, Stevie D. Cavazos, Linzee L. Leal, Austin Kyle Moreland and Michael Leal; her great grandchildren, Monroe C. Cavazos and Locklin D. Lively; her sisters, Wilma C. Slayton (John) of Alice and Doris S. Garcia (Wally) of Alice; and her sister-in-law Delpha Skidmore (Richard) of New Braunfels, Texas..
