With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Bear (Alice, Texas), who passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Richter and Virginia Byrne Richter; and her brother John Richter. She is survived by: her husband Pete Bear of Alice, TX; her children, Kimberly Theis (Ronald) of Spring, TX and Christopher Bear (Kara) of Pinehurst, TX; her grandchildren, Jonas Theis, Gareth Theis, Rylan Bear and Ava Bear; her sisters, Dorothy Postert Aransas (Ken) and Mary Helen Burnette (Art) of Seguin, TX; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Langham of Denver, CO, Kay Richter of Carlinville, IL. and Linda Wright of Alice, TX..

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Corpus Christi Humane Society.
