She was predeceased by: her husband Ricardo B. De Leon; her parents, David Leal and Otilia G. Leal; and her siblings, Leonardo Leal, Maria Elena Rios, David Leal, Ida Hernandez, Cecilia Perez and James "Jimmy" Leal.
She is survived by: her children, Ricardo De Leon, Jr. (Sylvia), Ramon De Leon (Lisa), Rogelio De Leon and Sandra Ann Palacios, Jr. (Francisco); her siblings, Gloria Coffing and Oscar Leal (Hilda); and her caregiver Sylvia Torres. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousin's aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel-Alie Texas (600 S Wright St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (801 S Reynolds St, Alice, TX 78332). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at the Roberson Collins Cemetery.
