He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Garcia and Isaura Sanchez Garcia; his brothers, Ernesto Garcia Jr. and Victoriano Garcia; his sister-in-law Martha Garcia; his great-niece Alyssa Trejo; his niece Sandra Jimenez; his nephews, Joey Garcia and Gabriel Garcia; and his father-in-law Guillermo Medrano Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Linda Medrano Garcia; his stepson Ricky V. Lopez (Odette Gonzalez) of Alice; his sisters, Yolanda Vela (Pastor Domingo) of Alice and Tina Trevino (Rogelio) of Keller; his mother-in-law Amada R. Medrano of Alice; his sisters-in-law, Norma Doucette of Alice, Frances Ayala (Mike) of Banquete and Lilly Medrano of Kingsville; and his godchildren, Becky Cadena (Jason) of Alice, Jennifer Ibanez (Chris Dominguez), Jessica Carbajal (Armando) of Richmond, Jesimiel Cadena of Alice and Joann Jaso of West Virginia.
