He was predeceased by : his parents, Anita Zepeda and Seledonio Zepeda Sr.; his siblings, Seledonio Zepeda Jr., Esperanza "Hope" Pinon and Beatrice Tijerna; and his in-laws, Eduardo and Felipa Garza.

He is survived by : his wife Refugia "Cooky" Zepeda; his children, Felicia Garza (Jose) and Kristopher "Kris" Zepeda (Crystal); his grandchildren, Avram Martinez, Braiden Martinez, Joby Garza and Zoey Zepeda; his siblings, Robert Zepeda (Gloria), Rey Zepeda (Karen), Michael Zepeda (Rhonda), Steven Zepeda, Ralph Zepeda (Ginny), William Zepeda (Jennifer), Connie Olivio (Ruben), Sally Moncevais and Rose Ann Garza (Roger); and his pets, Pepper and Chula. He is also survived by his parents, brother, sisters, and in-laws.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Treviño Funeral Home (120 E Front St, Alice, TX 78332). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
