She was predeceased by: her parents, Fidencio Canales and Celia Salinas Canales; her husband Humberto Galvan; her son Humberto Galvan Jr.; her grandson Michael Paul Flores; and her sisters, Maria Estella Canales and Celia Chapa.
She is survived by: her children, Hermilo Galvan (Sylvia) of Benavides, Emilia Flores (Leopoldo) of San Antonio, Jose A Galvan of Benavides and Nora Cavazos (Israel) of Mission; and her sister Lucila Sendejar (Roel) of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 22 Great grandchildren.
