She was predeceased by: her father Homero R. Sandoval; and her brothers, Robert and Norman Vela. She is survived by: her mother Ercilia S. Gutierrez; and her siblings, Norberto O. Vela, Jr. (Viola) and Yvette Delgado (Louis). She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
