Mark Arredondo Obituary

Mark Arredondo, age 40, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home in Alice, Texas. He was born on March 19, 1981, to Rene R. Arredondo and Maria Guadalupe Garcia in Alice, Texas.

Mark enjoyed fishing, BBQ on the weekends, and spending time with his nieces and nephews, He loved his fur babies, Paris and Star. Mark worked well and was a good handyman. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rene R. Arredondo; paternal grandparents, Eduardo and Nazaria Arredondo; and maternal grandparents, Manuel O. and Guadalupe Garcia.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are his loving mother, Maria G. Arredondo of Alice, Texas; siblings, Lee Roy (Hilda) Arredondo of Alice, Texas, Letitia (Rodolfo) Cantu of San Antonio, Texas, Diana Ochoa of Chicago, Illinois, Linda (Ellsworth) McCann of San Antonio, Texas, and Sylvia Arredondo of Alice, Texas; and 14 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Holmgreen Mortuary 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Holmgreen Mortuary. Christian Burial will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
