He is survived by : his wife Linda Lee Vela; his children, Diana Arevalo (Lucas), Elisa Olmos (Samuel), Reynaldo Vela (Yolanda), Seferino Vela and Marcos Candelario Vela; and his sister Maria Robledo (Alfredo). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews.
