It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicki Eckenrode of Alice, Texas, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her boyfriend Richard Smith; her pet Shiloh; her mother-in-law Betty Riley; her brother-in-law Irvan Pierce; her great-nephew Ace Coen Jentsch; and her parents, Joyce Eckenrode and William Eckenrode.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cory Eckenrode (Denise) and Denise Pierce; her nieces and nephews, Amber Jentsch (John), Ashley Eckenrode, Abigail Alvarado (Augie) and Andrew Eckenrode; her stepdaughter Stephanie Ruble (Chris); her great-nieces, Carley Garcia (Bianca) and Caitlyn Roberts (Dillon); her nephews, Addilee Placencio, Bailee Placencio, Blake Garcia, Mycah Ortiz-Garcia, Bentley Clegg and Everleigh Roberts; Shannon Little.
