It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eric Molinar (Alpine, Texas), who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Anna Maria Benitez; his parents, David De La Vega and Rosalinda Molinar; his sisters, Samantha Raquel George (Andre George), Kathie Hambleton (Damien Hambleton), Natalie N. Lopez (Ruben J. Lopez) and Audra De La Vega; his nieces and nephews, Robert C. Bridges, Jr., Darius T. Bridges, Donovan X. Bridges, Benjamin D. Lopez, Shantel M. Bridges, Audra A. Lopez, Ella R. Lopez and Lucia G. Lopez; his daughter Shysie Erica Molinar; his grandparents, Moises De La Vega, Anna Marie Rodarte, Andres R. Molinar, Jr. and Ofelia Torres-Molinar; Akio Kyson. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (406 S 6th St, Alpine, TX 79830). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Angels Cemetery E Avenue (114 N 5th St, Alpine, TX 79830).
