He is survived by: his wife Nati Chavez; his children, Claudine Bishop (Tommy), Krisella Chavez, Jose Enrique Chavez (Diana), Martin Andrew Chavez (JoAnn) and Abelardo Chavez (Yolanda); his grandchildren, Nathan Jayde, Denise (Steve), Aryanna, Conrad (Emily), Jeanette (Kristopher), Michael (Patricia), Kyle (Heather), Kory (Temeria), Kameron (Melissa), Dominique (Daisy), Jerrica, Abelardo Jr. (Angelica) and Austin; and his brothers, Merced, Arturo and Gilbert Chavez.
