Maria Granado Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 16, 2025, at the age of 94, Maria Granado (Alpine, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus R. Castillo and Maria A. Castillo. She is survived by: her children, Leticia G. Reyes (David Reyes), Laura Slight (David Slight), Lilia G. Nañez (Ignacio) and Manuel C. Granado (Lydia); her great grandchildren, Evelina Nañez, Luka Isaiah Granado, Alicia Quiroz and Daniel Granado; her husband Manuel V. Granado; her sister Agapita C. Candia; and her son Gerald C. Granado. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Donations in Maria's memory may be made to the Alpine Humane Society or to the Fine Arts Department at Sul Ross State University.
