She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. Merriwether and Marie Martin Merriwether. She is survived by: her husband Larry Griffith; her sons, John Griffith (Kimberly) and Kyle Griffith (DeAnna); her grandchildren, Kade Griffith (Casey), Presley Griffith, Mason Griffith and Ryan Griffith (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Wyatt of Alto, Sutton of Alto, Statler of Alto and Hudson of Alto.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. Frank Smith Methodist Church (131 Cooper St, Alto, TX 75925). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
