She was predeceased by: her daughter Linda Sambrano; her granddaughter Nina Salazar; and her parents, Margarito Benavides and Martha Benavides. She is survived by: her husband Abel Sambrano; her children, Sarah Guitierez (Pascal), Abel Sambrano Jr. and Robert Sambrano (Linda); and her siblings, Irene, Dale, Yolanda, Sylvia, Thelma, Lucy, Richard, Margarito Jr., Michael, Paul and Jimmy Jo. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
