Though Bruce may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bruce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Joe Bland; and his sister Lisa Ratzke. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Bland; his children, Robert Bland (Anna) and Renee Bland (Kelsey); his granddaughter Emma Bland; his mother Mary Bland; and his sisters, Marsha Clark and Gay DeForde. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance would be greatly appreciated and Bruce wanted to encourage all he knew to have regular colonoscopies often and early.
