He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Minton; his grandson Conner Minton; his parents, Florence Downey and Christopher A. Minton, Sr.; his stepmother Katherine "Kitty" Minton; and his siblings, Delores Fletcher and Dennis Minton.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Owen; his brother Francis Minton (Diane); his children, Jacquie Duncan, Debbie Branch (C. R.), Chris Minton III and Chuck Minton (Carrie); and his grandchildren, Scott Branch, Stephanie Montoya (Luis), Travis Branch and Baylen Smith. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (110 E South St, Alvin, TX 77511).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chris's honor to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin.
