It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Cave of Alvin, Texas, born in Robstown, Texas, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Donald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Donald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Vickie Hood; and his parents, Ethel Cave and Douglas Cave. He is survived by: his wife Willie Grace Cave; and his children, Donna Silvas (Felipe) and Michael Cave (Tammy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scott Funeral Home (1421 E Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
