It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Taft Smith of Alvin, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Smith and Mildred Smith; his son Ricky Smith; and his grandson Wade Smith. He is survived by : his children, Tricia Howard (Raymond), Susan Croker (Robert) and Brad Smith (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Madison Ratley (Garrett), Tori Smith, Kenzie Smith, Daniel Fountain, Chassity Rathfon (Jason), Keaton Croker (Kendall), Brittany Croker, Tyler Croker and Josh Croker (Carolyn). He is also survived by Four brothers and sisters; numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
