He was predeceased by : his parents, Rosalee Mitchell (Hare) and Joseph Mitchell; and his siblings, Joseph A. Mitchell Jr. and Mary McMurry. He is survived by : his wife Diana Mitchell; his children, Ray Mitchell (Robyn) and Jennifer Morrison (Jeffrey); his brother Frank Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Morgan (Luis), Colby, Danica and Shelby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
