He is survived by: his sons, David Lee Merchant and Steven Wayne Merchant (Miranda); his nephew Eddy Earl Merchant (Carol); and his grandchildren, Mason Lee Merchant and Kasey Merchant. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
