He was predeceased by: his grandfather Carlos Benavides. He is survived by: his spouse Che'Benavides; his children, Gianna Whitson, Minnow Benavides and Richard "Bre'; his parents, Patsy Smiley (Bruce) and Rick Benavides (Laura); his siblings, Katie Harlan (Ryan), Stephanie Stanley (Steve) and Robert Cory Benavides (Courtney); and his nieces and nephews, Addison Harlan, Stella Harlan, Ellie Harlan, Graham Benavides, Betty Benavides, Katee Cortez (Taylor), Marlee Massie and Gideon Sewell. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
